Football turf for pitches, schools and clubs.
Artificial football turf sourced to your specFIFA certified turf available on request.
Pile height, colour and infill are set by the pitch: a club pitch, a school field or a five-a-side cage. Tell us how it will be played, we source the turf to match and lay it with the lines marked in.

FIFA Quality and FIFA Quality Pro, in short.
General facts about FIFA's quality programme for football turf. Stanza is not a FIFA licensee; on request we source FIFA certified turf for your project.
- Two levelsFIFA Quality Pro is aimed at professional football, FIFA Quality at community, school and club pitches.
- Tested on the finished pitchA field earns the mark after tests on site by an accredited test institute, not by the turf roll alone.
- What is measuredHow the ball rolls and bounces, how the surface absorbs a fall, and how it grips and turns under the boot.
- What you tell usWhich level your project needs. We source turf to that spec and plan the build-up for it.

How a turf pitch goes in, layer by layer.
Six steps from bare ground to a pitch you can play on. Tap a step: the drawing shows which layer goes in.
1Base
The ground is dug out, levelled and compacted, with a slight fall so rain runs off the pitch.

2Laying
The rolls go out side by side, all with the pile in one direction, and are trimmed along the edges.

3Seams
Each joint is glued onto seaming tape under the turf, so the seam stays flat and closed.

4Lines
Lines are cut into the turf and glued in as strips of white or coloured turf.

5Silica sand, then rubber granules
Silica sand goes in first and holds the turf down. Rubber granules follow on top, for grip and a softer fall.

6Brushing in
Each layer of infill is spread by machine and brushed in until it settles between the fibres and the pile stands up again.

- Brushed in
- Rubber granules
- Silica sand
- Inlaid line
- Turf fibres
- Seam on tape
- Backing
- Compacted base

Golf grass: a putting green with cup and flag.
A short, dense pile so the ball rolls true, contours shaped into the base, and the cup and flag where you want them. For villa gardens, roof terraces and hotel greens.
- Cup
- 108 mm across, the size in the Rules of Golf
- Pile, speed and colour
- On request, matched to how you play

Cricket grass for the outfield and the pitch.
Cricket takes two kinds of artificial grass. Outfield grass covers the field around the pitch. Pitch grass covers the strip the ball is bowled on, in the middle of the ground and in practice nets.
- Outfield grass
- A longer, softer pile for the field around the pitch, so the ball runs true and fielders can dive
- Pitch grass
- A short, dense surface laid on a firm, level base, so the ball bounces evenly ball after ball
- Pitch size
- 22 yards (20.12 m) long and 10 ft (3.05 m) wide, the size in the Laws of Cricket
- Pile, colour and base
- On request, matched to a club ground, a school or a practice net
Lawn and garden grass for villas and pool areas.
Green all year without watering or mowing. Around a pool, water drains through the perforated backing, so the grass is soon dry again.
